Our first communities are helping connect health and social care providers with vulnerable citizens.

At the heart of our technology, and each SafeGuarden community, is our ethical, non-profit Data Trust. This is a cloud based secure data ‘Lock Box’ that holds an individual’s data, documents and media information in trust. Our platform gives each individual the ability to provide real-time consent, with controlled access and data exchange to other registered parties they choose to interact with. Sharing specific appropriate information in exchange for support, services and commerce.

Intuitive and easy to navigate applications and software using flexible configurable processes, customisable platform with helpful tools and personalised user interfaces.

We also provide web portals that support GDPR transparency and further aid an individual’s understanding of all data submitted and why, to help them better control usage of their personal data.

How it works

At registration and onboarding we apply appropriate policy and regulatory checks to organisations, agencies, and individuals. The type of data checks triggered will vary depending on the role and community joined but typically the process will request to capture:

Selfie video – for anti-impersonation, liveness and biometric confirmation

Photo-ID - e.g. Passport image capture and NFC chip reading

Proof of Address

Email & Phone details

This can generate a community passport straight to your digital wallet that can be scanned or verified as the “Real You” during future digital or real-world interaction. (Non-digital versions that sync to SafeGuarden are available for the elderly, vulnerable or less technology enabled individuals).

Data and documents submitted and captured can be reviewed via the secure access SafeGuarden portals.

Any future data requests that are consented or activities transacted in the community can all be recorded on blockchain to support an auditable record of trusted interactions and further ensure compliance.
